The Dutch King’s Day

The Dutch King’s Day LA (also called the Holland Festival) is a one-day cultural celebration in Long Beach that recreates the Netherlands’ famous “orange-filled” national holiday honoring King Willem-Alexander’s birthday, blending Dutch traditions with a Southern California community festival atmosphere.
Held at Gemmrig Park, (Behind Wal-Mart and Lowe’s) Free parking Eldorado Park the 2026 event takes place on April 26, running roughly from late morning through the afternoon, and features an Amsterdam-style outdoor party with Dutch and Indonesian street food, a beer garden, games, a flea market (vrijmarkt), and family-friendly activities.
They usually have live music and DJs.— along with ongoing music programming throughout the day rather than big-name headliners.
